Tattoos are Happening, People: #Hbomb #100MoN

So my ass and my entire left side is finally no longer in pain after last Saturday's amazing adventure around central Ames.

Lots and lots of blogging needs to happen regarding our #100MoN Vision Quest, but for now, I want to clarify a few things:

  • #Hbomb is awesome
  • The #Hbomb Nation is fucking amazing. Yes, I said fucking.
  • We made some serious bank: $3026 adventure-supporting-clams, baby!
  • Steven, oh, how I love Steven. She is a force of nature
  • Riding in circles is okay until about mile 95
  • Having hunks like Russ and Taylor and Ian to ride with makes it extra fun
  • Explaining why you are riding in a circle is pretty involved (so, there's this blog...)
  • Ames does have one cool cop!
  • Coors Light just never gets old.
  • I forgot my Uncle Rod milk shake on the curb. :(
  • Having a kick ass support team (the Emilys, Masinga, Aunt Jacque, Goldie, Leann) makes a world of difference.
  • Bike World Ames has some super foxy mechanics. Like make you want to break-your-bike-on-purpose-foxy (Air Force! Air Force! I have a flat!)
  • #Hbomb is awesome
There's so much more to say, and so many more people to thank. So if I forgot you, keep your pants on, will ya? Or don't.

But, I did want to let you know that tattoos are happening. Yes, I talked her into it. They won't be exactly like the picture, but they are happening. Look for them early November when I head to Denver for a conference/Team Beaver West Jamboree.

Boom.

100 Miles to NoWhere: H-Bomb Edition

Attention gentle readers, I have a proclamation.

I feel like the proverbial ante of this bike ride needs to be up-ped. Yes, up-ped.

When Steven and I first discussed this event, we decided $20 per mile was pretty good. If we could sell all 100 miles, that'd be 2-gs. That's pretty good.

But could it be better?! Yes!

So, here is my challenge (haven't told Steven about this). But, if we can get the total over $3000 clams, I will do my damnedest to get Steven to get this tattoo with me.

She's the one who first sent me this picture, so I am pretty sure she wants it. And, it will document not just our successful raising of funds, but also our unending love of Carly Rae Jepsen.

Go forth, and donate! Only you can get people to get very stupid tattoos for a good cause!

Donate over at Steven's blog. I'm not responsible enough to  handle complicated stuff like counting.
